The A044 Pacifica is the first in the AsOne Yachts Ocean series of long-range cruising vessels. Featuring narrow, high efficiency, full displacement hulls, she can cruise for almost 3000nm at 10 knots and sprint at speeds up to 20 knots, with only 180hp engines each side. 800mm bridge deck clearance at full load displacement ensures comfort and performance in challenging sea states.
The vessel is configured for two couple cruising, with symmetrical layout of cabins and an ensuite in each hull. A large fixed or optional articulated bathing platform leads to the generous covered cockpit and then through to the main saloon.
The enclosed flybridge is serviced by an internal staircase from the saloon, providing greater safety and protection from the outside elements. The primary helming station is on the flybridge level, with full multi-function displays, engine controls and full helm arrangement. A saloon option is also available with joystick steering, engine controls and multi-function displays. The large settee can be converted into a queen sized bed. Aft on the flybridge provides a covered space for lounging or dining. A BBQ, sink, fridge, and freezer also feature as part of the alfresco arrangement of this area with a built-in washing machine included for convenience.
Commercial fabrics and furnishings are used throughout. The joinery is warm, with light veneers and solid timber, creating the effect of apartment-style living. All galley appliances are domestic, 240VAC. and include as standard an induction cooktop, combination oven-microwave, 2-door 4201t fridge/freezer and compact dishwasher.
Construction is infused, advanced composite with gelcoat finish, utilising multi-axial fabrics over PVC cores of varying densities. Vinyl ester resin is used throughout the hull and deck construction, with minor items infused or hand laid with polyester resin.
Propulsion for the vessel features commercially rated marine diesel engines and shaft drives fitted with Python drive constant velocity couplings. The 48VDC system, coupled with a 40kWhr lithium phosphate battery system, provides all 240VAC needs on board. A significant solar panel array and high output 48VDC 5kw alternators on each engine provide a flexible and powerful electrical system, without the need for a separate diesel generator. The vessel features ample powerpoints around the galley and living areas.
